Christina Hebrock Sampson

Christina (Chris) Hebrock Sampson, born November 6th 1951 in Sisterville, WV entered into heaven's gates to go home on January 14th, 2020, peacefully, with loved ones by her side.
Predeceased by her father Dewie Meade Hebrock, brother Jerry Hebrock, and late husband David  (Dave) Sampson.
Survived by mother Christel Hebrock, children Jerry (Jay) and (Grace) Harris, and Melissa (Missi) Swestyn. Grandchildren Josh, Dustin, Ashley, Lizzie, Tiffani, and Katie. Great grandchildren, Stephanie, Leighla, Mackenzie, and Michael. Brothers, Gene & (Sally), Gary & (Ginger) and Dewie Christopher Hebrock. Friend and sister Pamela Dowell Hebrock Among many extended family, friends, and loved ones. 
Chris was a career woman who worked long and hard but always had time for her loved ones. She was a dedicated, loving mother who enjoyed family gatherings, many of which were hosted by her. You could always count on her thinking about you on your birthday, she always had a card headed your way. 
Her life had many joyous moments as well as difficult ones. When many would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. She was fierce and full of spark. While some would say she was stubborn, that can be seen as determined, galvanized, motivated, strong-willed, pertinacious - the list goes on.
She was a fighter in so many ways. And her advice, oh, she would give you advice. Though not known to us at times, it was always needed and much appreciated. Straight, to the point, and from the heart.
If we listen carefully we will still hear her advice, because in faith and our memories she will always be by our side and forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life gathering will  be held at a later date.
