D'Mont Rashard Simpkins-Jefferson Jr.

D’Mont Rashard Simpkins-Jefferson Jr. passed away January 1, 2022, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida.  Born January 26, 2002, in Sanford, Florida to the parents of Lashawna Lowery and D’Mont Jefferson Sr. He graduated from Seminole High School in 2020.  D’Mont was employed as a Mixer at The Father’s Table and as a dishwasher at Texas Roadhouse. He attended 9th Street Church of God of Prophecy.

D’Mont is preceded in death by his grandparents: William Lowery Sr., Mark Berry and Earl Jefferson Sr.

D’Mont leaves to cherish his memory, his mom, Lashawna Lowery; his dad D’Mont Jefferson, Sr.; two sisters: Tatyana Thomas and Teyaire Jefferson; stepdad Joseph Decker; grandparents: Wynner and Raymond Williams, Rose Berry and Yvonne Jefferson and a host of aunties, uncles and cousins, family and friends.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Sanford Municipal Cemetery, Sanford, Florida.

Mask must be worn for the viewing and the service.
