John Henry Sykes Jr.

John Henry Sykes Jr, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. John was born April 29th, 1956 in Daytona Beach, Florida to John Henry Sykes Sr. and Christine Miles. John attended Volusia County Public Schools; graduating from Father Lopez where he played on the football team.  After high school, he worked as a Construction Foreman while he raised his children.

John is proceeded in death by his parents John Henry Sykes Sr. and Christine Miles; brothers Jesse Jordan and Ronald Jordan.

He is survived by his children John Henry Sykes III  of Daytona Beach, Florida, Darrell Sykes of Orlando, Florida, Dwayne Sykes of  Los Angeles, California and De’Tra Sykes of Orlando, Florida; siblings: Vernita Miller of Daytona Beach, Florida, Andrea Wallace of Tavares, Florida, Pastors Victor and Dynel Miles  of Daytona Beach, Florida, Harold Miles of New York, Carlton Miles of New York and George Miles of Daytona Beach, Florida; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
