Leroy Newberry

Leroy Newberry (Duck) was born July 19, 1948 in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  He is the son of the late Mr. Frederick Douglas Newberry and Mrs. Annie Lee Newberry. Leroy was raised in Hawkinsville, Georgia and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.  He also spent some time in California and New York with his sisters.  Leroy called Daytona his home.  He retired as a Truck Driver with Waste Management. Leroy loved fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking for his family.  Leroy leaves to cherish his memory his son Leshawan Newberry (Amanda); daughter Jillease Gordon-Riley (Lenzell); brothers: Troy (Carolyn), Ernest and Rick; Sisters: Evelyn and Wendy; 3 grandchildren: Zhane, TJ and Zaela. A host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
