Telford Augustus Phipps

Telford Augustus Phipps was born on January 23, 1941 in Hanover, Jamaica

to the late Hilda Campbell and George Phipps. He went home to be with the

Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Mr. Phipps attended school in the Jamaica School System. He was a carpenter,

and business owner. He was very well known in the community and loved by

all that knew him. Mr. Phipps was a peaceful man who loved his family. He

will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter, La’Shekia Hamilton,

brothers: Marvin Gene Whie, Willie Arthur White, Sr, and Lloyd White;

Sister, Dorothy White; Nephew, Willie Arthur White, Jr.

Those left to Cherish his memories: his loving wife, Deborah Phipps; his children: Pauline(June),

Angela(Beverly), Jannette, Sharon, Joan, Georgia(Reginald), Alicia, Hopeton(Michaela), Opal

and Tracy; his stepchildren: Veronica, Anthony, Alesica, and Fe’Asha. Siblings: Ivy Patterson,

Dolly James, Leonie James, and Noel Williams. And a host of grandchildren and great-

grandchildren.

A special thank you to Mrs. Hattie for being a good friend, his assistant David Mitchell for being

a good worker and his stepdaughter Fe’asha White for taking care of him during his illness.
