Timothy Edward Dowdell was born July 14, 1956 in Daytona Beach, Florida to the late Lee Samuel Dowdell and the late Maxine Deloris Dowdell. He was educated in the Volusia County Public School System and graduated from Mainland Senior High School with the Class of '74. Timothy was employed by Complete Dewatering Pumps & Wellpoints as a well-digger. He enjoyed all types of sports; however football was his favorite and the Washington Redskins was his favorite NFL team. He also found joy in barbequing and hanging-out with family and friends.
Mr. Dowell was preceded in death by his loving parents Lee Samuel and Maxine Deloris Dowdell; brothers; Charles Dowdell (Ruby), Samuel Dowdell and James Dowdell, as well as long-time companion Linda Mann.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Kimberly Dowdell; five grandchildren: William, Zarlon, Cameron, J’ rel and J’ Riyah and one Stepdaughter Valencia Mann; siblings: Robert Cato (Michelle), Sharon Sager, Essie Dowdell, Raymond Dowdell (Gail), Joyce Dowdell-Pelham, Paul Dowdell, Andrew Dowdell (Laverne) and Christine Dowdell as well as a host of nieces, nephews, former wife and friend Doncella Shabazz and life-time friends who loved him deeply.
There will be a Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Timothy Dowdell, but due to COVID-19 it will be for the immediate family only.
