Virginia Carol Kantro

Passed away on June 23,2025 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. She was 83 years of age. And she lived in Jasper, Florida. Virginia worked and retired from FDLRS where she worked children, teachers and families.

Virginia’s birthday was May 21. Virginia enjoyed painting, gardening, going to auctions and discount warehouses and she especially liked to travel. Her most talked about trip was her trip to Arizona with her best friend Karen Pinello. Virginia and Karen were always out together, and you could find them most nights at the local Huddle House. Virginia also liked to go for Sunday dinners at her sons house every other week where she would try the new cuisines he would come up with for her and his family. She also enjoyed her trip to England to visit with her daughter Kimberly Lindsey and her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Kantro, mother Florence Brickley, stepfather Jerry Brickley, father, Robert Lee and half-brother Allen Lee.

Virginia is survived by her brother, Bob Lee, stepmother, Viola Lee, son, Scott Kantro, his wife Nancy Kantro and granddaughter Falon Kantro. As well as her daughter, Kim Lindsey, her husband, Jerry Lindsey Jr, granddaughter, Sabrina Newell and husband Mikey Newell, granddaughter Ashley Hansen, granddaughter Bonnie Lindsey and grandson Jerry Lindsey III. Half Brothers Brian Lee, Russell Lee and Christopher Lee and half Sister Taryn Flannigan. Great Grand Children Paisley, Ryker and Tanner Newel.

Virginia will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her and loved her. Virginia was the kindest person who would go out of her way to help you if she could and wanted nothing in return. We will hold her in our hearts forever with Love.
