Obituary

Willie H. McCants (Bill), 63, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022.  Willie H. McCants was born in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late James and late Edna McCants.  Bill relocated to the Daytona Beach area in 1969, where he worked as a self-employed Tree/Landscaper for forty years.  Bill enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by four siblings: Mary McCloud, Betty McCants, Sinda McCants and Grady McCants.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Judy Shelton; son Joseph Cooper, two grandchildren; siblings: Ruby Dean Gilliam, Beulah Johnson (Ernest), Eddie Howard McCants (Vicky) all of Daytona Beach, Florida; Rosalyn Porter (Harry) of Washington DC, Claude McCants (Nina) and Thomas McCants (Yutta) all of Atlanta, Georgia; sister-in-law Janice Wilson of Pennsylvania as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the service.

Face coverings and social-distancing protocols will be observed for all services.
